Everything we grow is done using beyond organic methods and is harvested fresh from our farm for your table.
RAW MILK SHARES
We offer raw milk herd shares from our Jersey cows. In 2006 we were milking one cow to help our family cure some health issues. Our friends were amazed, as were we, at how healing the milk was so we soon started a herd share program to safely provide clean, raw milk to our community. Our herd is a tested disease free herd and we regularly test our milk for safety and quality. Our cows enjoy eating pasture and a small amount of organic, Non GMO, soy free grain. We also have a custom free choice mineral system to ensure good health for them and mineral rich, nourishing milk for you.
VEGETABLES
Our vegetables are Certified Organic! We amend our garden soils with organic compost and minerals to provide rich, nourishing food for our plants. Well fed plants make well fed people!
GRASS FED BEEF
Our cows live on pasture eating grass 3 seasons and eat organic hay in the winter. We rotate their pastures frequently to optimize their nutrition and be good stewards of the land. Our beef is grass fed and grass finished.
PASTURE RAISED CHICKEN
Our chickens begin life in our warm brooder and when they are old enough they start roaming out onto our pasture. In addition to eating grass and bugs, we also fed them Organic, Soy Free, NON GMO grains with vitamins and minerals. They are humanely harvested here on our farm.
PASTURE AND WOODLAND RAISED PORK
Our pigs are raised happily in our woods and pasture. They eat acorns and they root up plants and bugs to eat as they were designed to do. Happy pigs make healthy pork! We feed them Organic, Soy Free, NON GMO grains with vitamins and minerals.
PASTURE RAISED EGGS
Our laying hens live on pasture and eat grass, bugs and Organic, Soy Free, NON GMO grains. They provide the most nutritious eggs for our family and yours!
HERBAL
Herbal shares are made here on the farm by our family with only organic ingredients. Each month you will receive some hand crafted herbal remedies. Example: Cold Buster Tincture and Elderberry syrup
THANKSGIVING TURKEY Available seasonally. We enjoy watching our turkeys grow and thrive on our organic pastures, they are a fun an interesting animal to care for. We feed them organic grains and fresh grass, sunshine and bugs just like God intended! Because they live outside in a natural setting, the weather does affect their rate of growth. In rainy years they don’t grow as fast. No matter the size or weather, they always taste delicious! We cannot guarantee a size, but approx ranges will be Sm (10-12lbs), Med (12.5-15lbs), LG (15+lbs).
