We are excited to have produce and flower bouquets for sale at the Fort Bacon Farm Store this week. produce for this week: basil, garlic, eggplant, and tomatoes! Our family has been busy making pesto, pizza sauce, barbeque sauce, and ratatouille while we have this bounty of Summer vegetables!! You can also place an order for vegetables, or flowers, through email, so you don’t miss out on anything!
We have been blessed with lots of rain recently… which always adds a twist to chores! A litter of piglets arrived the same afternoon that we got a gully washer rain storm, and the mother wasn’t keeping the piglets safe, so we now have piglets on bottles! During the day, they roam the back yard, and at night, they sleep in house. It’s been a super fun experience, but also… pigs, in our house???
